If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. This is the first and great commandment. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thy serve. Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: For the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever beliveth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Verly, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.  Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. I am the livingbread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven and giveth life unto the world. I am the bread which came down from heaven. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. This is that bread which came down from heaven: no as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: for ye shut up the the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. Brethern, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me I speak these things. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross. and follow me. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, cannot be my disciple. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and dispise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer them that are entering to go in. One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shal have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband. For in the resuurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. Neither can they die anymore: for the are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. And shall come forth, they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue. Brethern, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. Consider what I say; and the Lord will give thee understanding in all things. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men. Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. The queen of the south shall rise up in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she cane from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, a greater than Solomon is here. For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness, but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and wisdom of God. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demostration of the Spirit and power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.

As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one. If a man abide not in me , he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.

And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: therfore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. And he lookek up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. Even so every good tree bingeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, nether can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Either make the tree, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Abide in me, and I in you, As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if the dead rise not. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues. How is that ye do not understands that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hyprocrisy.

Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the cheif rooms at feasts. Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets. beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudients of the world, and not after Christ.

Ye shall indeed  drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism  that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptize. The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?  John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: he will show you things to come.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. One thing thou lackest: go thou way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
