Thou knowest the commandments, Do not committ adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear falsness witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. There is another that bear witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true. Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth. But I greater witness than that of John: for the works whih the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Faather that sent me beareth witness of me. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. And this is condemnation ,that light is come into the world, and men love darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear I judge: and my judgment is just, because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and they which see might be made blind. My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.I f any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom you know not. But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me. I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. And he that sent me is with me, the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is on resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; becaused we have testified of God that raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then Christ is not raised.

But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised incorruption. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of the Lord from heaven. If I have told you earthy things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. And many false prophets shall rise, and deceive many. For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it was possible, even the elect. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For such are fasle apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose shall be according to their works. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Neither yeild ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin, but yeild yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments  of righteousness unto God. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness. Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by which he condemened the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

Thursday, December 11, 2014

Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. For God , who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shinned in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Whereby when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ. And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

For this cause we also, since the day we heard of it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. That ye walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him. Who will have all men to be saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth. If we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. According to his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge. And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Get the behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and the whole world to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. But if I cast out devils by the spirit of God, the the kingdom of God is come unto you.

Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and the table of devils. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other, or he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Whosoever is born of God doth not committ sin, because he is born of God. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God, and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. In ths this the children of God are manifest, and the childress of the devil: whosoever doth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

The Spirit itself  beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. By this we know that we are the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. If ye love me, keep my commandments. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love. If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

Love not the world, neither the things in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. I have not written unto because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is off the truth.

Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth  hath not seen him, neither known him.  Whosoever is born of God doth not committ sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteousness. We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethern. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. My little children, let us not love in the word, neither in tongue;  but in deed and in truth.

If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels which are in heaven. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels which are in heaven. Neither can they die anymore: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil , unto the resurrection of damnation. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just.

The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast the into the fire, and they are burned. And now the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bingeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come upon you. But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. But seek ye first the kingdon of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. For I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he. The kingdom of God cometh without observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here; or, lo there; for, behold, the kindom of God is within you. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of  water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me. Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send  in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your rememberance, whatsoever I have said unto you. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, he shall testify of me. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make ye free. I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice. If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. There is another that bearest witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true. Ye sent unto John, and he bear witness unto the truth. But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father  that sent me beareth witness of me. I told you and ye believe not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. If I do not the works of my Father ,believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him..

For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols. Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I spead this to your shame. For God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ. But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden mystery, which God ordained before the world unto our glory. Behold I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. And to make all men see the fellowship of the mystery; which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.

This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have preeminence. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and truth. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. For by thy words thou shall be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

For whosoever  shall be ashamed of me and my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? And if any man hear my words and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge in the last day.

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. I told you, and ye believe not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

Saturday, November 22, 2014

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and decending upon the Son of man. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and sup with him, and he with me. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that the will of my Father which is in heaven. Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Woe unto you, lawyers; for ye take away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that was entering in ye hindered. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the death hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached unto them. Go your way, and tell John what things ye have heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, to the poor  the gospel is preached.  unto them.
I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Yet a little while is light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not where he goeth. Therefore is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now ye are light in the Lord: walk as children of light. If we say we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. But if we walk ih the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

Thursday, November 13, 2014

If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross, and follow me. For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. If thou will be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shall have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

But if you believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.

When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall y know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe me, believe the works: that ye may know and believe, that the Father is in me, and I him. If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Wednesday, November 12, 2014

Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because  ye cannot hear my word. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear hear them not, because ye are not of God.

I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in Spirit and truth. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Which all are to perish with the using; after the commandments of men. Now the Spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. But I say, unto you that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and the table of devils. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels was cast out with him.

Get thee behind me Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that b of men. Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: we are not ignorant of his devices. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Beware lest any man spoil you through vain philosophy and vain deceit, after te tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. But unto them that are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginnng, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead. But God raised him from the dead.

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we should walk in newness of life. Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from te dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? Remember that Jesus Christ the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel.

Monday, October 27, 2014

Let your light so shine before me, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. And this is condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be manifest, that they are wrought in God. I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.

Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whether he goeth. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they my receive forgiveness of sins, and iheritance among them which are santified by faith that is in me. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and put on the armour of light. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and doeth not the truth. And have no fellowship with unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light of the Lord: walk as children of light. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth  us from all sin.

,               I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. When the Son of man shall come in his own glory, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity. So shall it be at the end of this world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just.

For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and desending upon the Son of man. I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word whch ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess before my Father which is in heaven. Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

Ye neither know me nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things things. I and my Father are one. Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there shall be knowledge, it shall vanish away. Now, brethern, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesing, or by doctrine?

Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.  For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, have shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been thoroughly made manifest among you in all things. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. Whereby, when you read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ. And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with the fullness of God. For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him. Who will have all men to be saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. For if we sin wilfully after  that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.

Let no man decieve himself. If an man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him becone a fool, that he may be wise. Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching is in vain, and your faith is also vain. And if Christ be not raised, your is vain; ye are yet in your sins. But God raised him from the dead. Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more, death hath no more dominion over him.

But if the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ not raised. But som man will say, How are the dead raise up? and with what body do they come? So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.

There is a natural body, and there is a spirit is a spiritual body. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: Therefore, my beloved brethern, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the rudients of the world, and not after Christ.

Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized. The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he. John indeed baptize with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Receive ye the Holy Ghost: The kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Now the God of hope fill you with joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. For there are three that bear record in heaven, The Father, The Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. I can of mine ownself do nothing: as I hear, I judge:  and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. He that rejectet me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which hath sent me. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized  into his death? For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. No man can come unto me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation. This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. For as Jonas was a sign unto the ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation. The men of Nineve shall rise up in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness  of me, that the Father hath sent me. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

If I bear of myself, my witness is not true. There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true. Ye sent unto John, and he bear witness unto the truth. But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me bear witness of me. I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead: Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ  not risen: Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and we shall be changed.

For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdon of heaven. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; for ye shut up the kngdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. The kingdom of God cometh without observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here; or lo there; behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. For when they shall rise from the dead, the neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

No servant can serve two masters: for he will hate the one, and love the other; or elese he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant  knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and learned of the Father, cometh unto me. I have many things to say and judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me. I speak these things. But the hour cometh, and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

Wednesday, September 10, 2014

If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandent, what I should say, and what I should speak. Let not not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Saturday, September 6, 2014

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.

Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder  of them that diligently seek him.

By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. My brethern, have not the  faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Saturday, August 30, 2014

If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. This is the first and great commandment. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thy serve. Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: For the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever beliveth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Verly, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.  Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. I am the livingbread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven and giveth life unto the world. I am the bread which came down from heaven. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. This is that bread which came down from heaven: no as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: for ye shut up the the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. Brethern, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me I speak these things.               If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross. and follow me. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, cannot be my disciple. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and dispise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer them that are entering to go in. One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shal have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband. For in the resuurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. Neither can they die anymore: for the are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. And shall come forth, they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue. Brethern, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. Consider what I say; and the Lord will give thee understanding in all things. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men. Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. The queen of the south shall rise up in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she cane from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, a greater than Solomon is here. For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness, but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and wisdom of God. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demostration of the Spirit and power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.

Wednesday, August 13, 2014

As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one. If a man abide not in me , he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.

And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: therfore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. And he lookek up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. Even so every good tree bingeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, nether can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Either make the tree, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Abide in me, and I in you, As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if the dead rise not. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues. How is that ye do not understands that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hyprocrisy.

Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the cheif rooms at feasts. Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets. beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudients of the world, and not after Christ.

Ye shall indeed  drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism  that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptize. The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?  John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: he will show you things to come.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. One thing thou lackest: go thou way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
