No man can serve two masters: for he will hate the one, and despise the other; Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest  not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Now the spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table and the table of devils.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. But the natural man receiveth  not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.

God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God; Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God. This I say then., Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. And be not confirmed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind. Let this mind be in you, which was in Christ Jesus. That you soon not be shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
